How Much Is My Fortnite Account Worth?
Most Fortnite accounts sell for about $10 to $221. Accounts with Chapter 1 items such as Renegade Raider, Black Knight or Skull Trooper, or promo skins like Galaxy and IKONIK, can reach $367 to $455 or more. Your locker value, what your items cost in V-Bucks, is usually far higher than what the account sells for.
The calculator above gives both numbers for your own account. Prices on this page are in US dollars, with V-Bucks at the store prices Epic set on 19 March 2026.
Fortnite Locker Value vs. Account Value
Locker value is the total original V-Bucks price of the cosmetics on your account, converted to dollars at today's V-Bucks prices. Account value is what a buyer would pay for the whole account. It depends on how rare the items are, not on what they cost.
| Locker value | Account value | |
|---|---|---|
| What it measures | What your items cost in the Item Shop | What the account could sell for |
| Where it comes from | Item Shop prices in V-Bucks, at $0.0112 per V-Buck | Rarity, OG items, Battle Pass exclusives and demand |
| What it is good for | Seeing what the collection cost | Setting a price or checking an offer |
| Example: Renegade Raider | 1,200 V-Bucks, about $13.49 | Adds about $211 on its own |
Locker value goes up with every item you buy. Account value goes up mostly with items nobody can buy anymore. A large locker of recent Item Shop skins can sell for less than a small Chapter 1 account.
What Makes a Fortnite Account Valuable
OG Battle Pass Items (Chapter 1)
Battle Pass rewards come from the pass, not the Item Shop: Epic only lets a pass item into the shop 18 months or more after that pass ends. Black Knight (Chapter 1, Season 2), The Reaper (Season 3) and the Season 2 outfits Sparkle Specialist and Blue Squire came only with those passes in 2017 and 2018. The first season you played is the clearest sign of an OG account: in our model, starting in Chapter 1, Season 1 adds $140 to the resale estimate, and Season 2 adds $94.
Rare and Promo Skins
Some outfits came from partner promotions and were never sold. Galaxy came with Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 and Tab S4 in 2018, and IKONIK with the Galaxy S10 in 2019. Early Item Shop outfits such as Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper (Chapter 1, Season 1) have not come back to the shop, so buyers pay well above their V-Bucks price. An exclusive item that never returns keeps its value. A skin that returns every Halloween does not.
Emotes, Pickaxes, Gliders and Back Blings
Every cosmetic adds to both numbers, and rarer ones add more. A few are OG items in their own right: the Floss emote from the Chapter 1, Season 2 Battle Pass, and the Raider's Revenge pickaxe and Mako glider from Chapter 1, Season 1. Back Blings and Wraps add a little. Most Back Blings come bundled with an outfit.
Save the World
Save the World is Fortnite's paid co-op mode, first sold through Founder's Packs in 2017. It has its own buyers, mostly players who want the mode and its Founder rewards. Owning it adds $29 to our resale estimate.
V-Bucks and Account Level
Unused V-Bucks count for less than their store price, because a buyer can buy their own. In our model 1,000 unused V-Bucks add about $2 to the resale estimate. Account level and Battle Pass level show how long the account has been played; the items those levels unlocked matter more than the numbers.
Rarest Fortnite Skins and What They Add
These items raise an account's price because Epic no longer sells them, or never did. The last column is what each one adds to the resale estimate in our calculator, on top of the rest of the account.
| Item | How players got it | Introduced | Back in the Item Shop? | Adds about |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Renegade Raider | Item Shop, 1,200 V-Bucks | Chapter 1, Season 1 | No | $211 |
| Aerial Assault Trooper | Item Shop, 1,200 V-Bucks | Chapter 1, Season 1 | No | $152 |
| Galaxy | Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Tab S4 promotion | Chapter 1, Season 5 | No | $176 |
| Black Knight | Battle Pass, tier 70 | Chapter 1, Season 2 | No | $140 |
| IKONIK | Samsung Galaxy S10 promotion | Chapter 1, Season 8 | No | $105 |
| Recon Expert | Item Shop, 1,200 V-Bucks | Chapter 1, Season 1 | No | $94 |
| Sparkle Specialist | Battle Pass | Chapter 1, Season 2 | No | $59 |
| The Reaper | Battle Pass, tier 100 | Chapter 1, Season 3 | No | $59 |
| Travis Scott | Item Shop, Astronomical event (April 2020) | Chapter 2, Season 2 | No | $53 |
| Ghoul Trooper | Item Shop, Halloween 2017 | Chapter 1, Season 1 | Yes, several times | $53 |
| Blue Squire | Battle Pass, tier 1 | Chapter 1, Season 2 | No | $47 |
| Skull Trooper | Item Shop, Halloween 2017 | Chapter 1, Season 1 | Yes, several times | $41 |
| Floss (emote) | Battle Pass | Chapter 1, Season 2 | No | $18 |
Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper came back to the shop, but accounts that bought them in 2017 also own the original purple and pink styles, which later buyers never got.
How to See How Much You've Spent on Fortnite
- Sign in at epicgames.com and open your account settings.
- Go to Transactions. Every V-Bucks purchase is listed with its date and price; add them up for your total in real money.
- Purchases made through PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch may only show in that console store's own history.
- For the V-Bucks price of your items, use the calculator above: the locker value is what your cosmetics cost in the Item Shop.
Is It Safe to Use a Fortnite Account Value Checker?
Only if it never asks for your login. Never paste your Epic password, an authorization code or an exchange code into a value checker: each of them gives full access to your account, and a site can use it to take your items or sell the account. Epic says it does not support any locker value website.
A checker that promises a value from your username alone cannot read your locker, because Epic does not make another player's items public. LOLValue never asks for your Epic login, password or authorization code. You pick your items in the calculator and the estimate comes from those choices alone.
Can You Sell a Fortnite Account?
Epic's Terms of Service do not allow selling, buying or sharing Fortnite accounts. Epic can ban a sold account, and the original owner can often recover it through Epic support after the sale, which leaves the buyer with nothing. Use the estimate to see what your collection is worth, not as a price for a sale Epic does not allow.
How Our Fortnite Calculator Works
The calculator gives two numbers. The locker value adds up the usual Item Shop price of every item you enter, by type and rarity (for example 800 V-Bucks for an Uncommon outfit and 2,000 for a Legendary one), and converts it at $0.0112 per V-Buck: the $8.99 pack of 800 V-Bucks, Epic's price since 19 March 2026. Battle Pass and promo items count as 0 V-Bucks, because nobody could buy them.
The resale estimate starts from a value for each part of the account: levels, Battle Pass levels, unused V-Bucks and every cosmetic by rarity. An account usually resells for 11% to 19% of that value. Rare items, the first season played and Save the World then add a fixed amount each, because buyers pay for them separately.
Sample accounts on this page: starter (level 50, 12 cosmetics), regular (level 250, about 120 cosmetics and 500 V-Bucks) and collector (level 600, about 400 cosmetics and 1,500 V-Bucks). The OG account is the regular account started in Chapter 1, Season 2, with Black Knight. We update the values when Epic changes V-Bucks prices.
Fortnite Account Value FAQ
How much is my Fortnite account worth?
Most Fortnite accounts sell for about $10 to $221. Accounts with Chapter 1 items or promo skins such as Galaxy and IKONIK can reach $367 to $455 or more. Enter your items in the calculator above for an estimate of your own account.
What is Fortnite locker value?
Locker value is the total original V-Bucks price of the cosmetics on your account, converted to dollars at current V-Bucks prices. It is not the price your account would sell for.
How do I check how much my Fortnite account is worth?
Enter your level, V-Bucks, your outfits, emotes, pickaxes and gliders by rarity, and any rare items in the calculator above. It shows your locker value and a resale range. You do not need to log in.
Can I check my Fortnite account value by username?
No. Epic does not make another player's locker public, so no site can read your items from a username. A checker that says it can is guessing, or will ask for your login next. Enter your items yourself instead.
How much is a Fortnite account with Black Knight worth?
Black Knight adds about $140 to the resale estimate in our calculator, on top of the rest of the account. A regular account with Black Knight that started in Chapter 1, Season 2 comes to about $367 to $455.
Are OG Fortnite accounts worth money?
Yes. Chapter 1 accounts with items Epic no longer sells, such as Renegade Raider, Black Knight or the original Skull Trooper style, sell for more than newer accounts with bigger lockers. Starting in Chapter 1, Season 1 adds $140 to our estimate on its own.
How much is $20 in V-Bucks?
No pack costs exactly $20. Since 19 March 2026 the $8.99 pack gives 800 V-Bucks and the $22.99 pack 2,400. At the $8.99 pack price, $20 is worth about 1,780 V-Bucks.
How do I see how much I've spent on Fortnite?
Sign in at epicgames.com, open your account settings and go to Transactions. It lists every V-Bucks purchase with its date and price. Purchases made through a console store may only show in that store's history.
Can you legally sell a Fortnite account?
Epic's Terms of Service do not allow selling or buying Fortnite accounts. Epic can ban a sold account, and the original owner can often recover it through Epic support, so a buyer has little protection.
Do unused V-Bucks add to my account value?
A little. In our model 1,000 unused V-Bucks add about $2 to the resale estimate. Buyers pay for items they cannot get anywhere else, not for currency they can buy themselves.
