How Much Is My Overwatch Account Worth?

Most Overwatch accounts sell for about $7 to $111. Accounts at Grandmaster, Champion or Top 500, or with rare Overwatch 1 items like Pink Mercy, Noire Widowmaker or BlizzCon skins, reach $444 to $1,194. Battle.net accounts sell for more than console accounts. Overwatch dropped the "2" from its name in 2026; everything here applies to accounts from Overwatch 2 and Overwatch 1 too.

What Affects Your Account's Value

Rank and Peak Rank

Overwatch ranks each role (Tank, Damage, Support) from Bronze to Champion, and the best players of each region and platform reach the Top 500 leaderboard. Our model prices the highest role in full and each other ranked role at 25% of its value. Master adds $44, Grandmaster $123, Champion $246 and Top 500 $527. A peak rank above the current one adds part of the difference.

Overwatch 1 Legacy Items

Accounts from before Overwatch 2 launched in October 2022 carry items newer accounts can't get: Overwatch 1 event skins, the Origins and Legendary Edition skins, and high-level gold borders. An Overwatch 1 account adds $18 to our estimate, and the Origins or Legendary Edition $12.

Mythic Skins and Weapon Variants

Mythic skins, such as Cyber Demon Genji and Celestial Mercy, are the top tier: you can change their look with levels unlocked by Mythic Prisms. Weapon variants cost 3,000 Competitive Points each: Golden weapons with Legacy Competitive Points from older seasons, Jade and Galactic weapons with current ones. Each golden weapon adds $1 to our estimate.

Platform

Marketplaces list Battle.net accounts above the rest. In our model the same account sells for 15% less on PlayStation or Xbox and 25% less on Steam or Nintendo Switch.

Skin Rarity Tiers

Common skins are basic color swaps, Rare skins are recolors, Epic skins change the textures and details, and Legendary skins give the hero a new look, like Oni Genji or Winged Victory Mercy. Mythic skins sit above them. In our model a Legendary skin adds $3 and a Mythic $10.

Coins, Legacy Credits and Competitive Points

The shop takes Overwatch Coins; Legacy Credits from Overwatch 1 only buy older cosmetics, and Competitive Points only buy weapon variants. None of them add much: buyers pay for rank and rare skins, and can buy their own Coins. 1,000 unused Coins add about $1 to our estimate.

Rarest Overwatch Skins and What They Add to an Account

These skins can't be bought in the shop, so accounts that own them sell for more. The last column is what each adds to the resale estimate in our calculator, on top of the rest of the account.

What It Would Cost to Rebuild Your Account

The shop sells Overwatch Coins; bigger packs add bonus Coins. Prices as of October 2026:

Overwatch Coins packs (USD)
CoinsPrice
500$4.99
1,000$9.99
2,200 (2,000 + 200 bonus)$19.99
4,500 (4,000 + 500 bonus)$39.99
6,900 (6,000 + 900 bonus)$59.99
11,800 (10,000 + 1,800 bonus)$99.99

Mythic skins are bought with Mythic Prisms: 10 Prisms cost $9.99, 50 cost $39.99 and 100 cost $74.99. A shop Mythic costs 50 Prisms for the base skin and up to 80 with every level unlocked, so a full Mythic is roughly $60 to $70. A regular account would cost about $375 to rebuild today, which is why resale prices sit far below what owners spent.

Can You Sell an Overwatch Account?

Blizzard's End User License Agreement doesn't allow buying, selling, gifting or trading accounts, and doing it can cost you the account. The original owner can also recover a sold account through Blizzard support, which leaves the buyer with nothing. Use the estimate to see what your collection is worth, not as a price for a sale Blizzard does not allow.

How Our Calculator Works

The calculator gives two numbers. Cost to buy today adds up the shop price of the Rare, Epic and Legendary skins you enter in Overwatch Coins and of your Mythics in Mythic Prisms, plus unused Coins and Prisms. Weapon variants, rare skins and Overwatch 1 items count as $0, because nobody can buy them.

The resale estimate starts from a value for each part of the account: role ranks, level, skins by rarity, weapon skins and variants, and currencies. An account usually resells for 11% to 19% of that value. Rare skins and Overwatch 1 items then add a fixed amount each, and the result is adjusted for platform, for access to the original email (without it, 30% less) and for past bans (20% less).

Sample accounts on this page: starter (Gold in one role, level 50, 7 skins), regular (Overwatch 1 account, level 300, 38 skins, two golden weapons) and collector (Master in two roles, peak Grandmaster, level 1500, 186 skins, 15 weapon variants, Origins Edition, gold border and Noire Widowmaker). Values are checked every season.

Overwatch Account Value FAQ

How much is my Overwatch account worth?

Most Overwatch accounts sell for about $7 to $111. Accounts at Grandmaster or above, or with rare Overwatch 1 skins, reach $444 to $1,194. Use the calculator above for your own account.

Are old Overwatch 1 accounts worth more?

Yes. Accounts from before October 2022 can hold Overwatch 1 event skins, Origins Edition skins and gold borders that newer accounts can't get. In our model an Overwatch 1 account adds $18, and rare skins like Pink Mercy add more.

How much is a Pink Mercy account worth?

Pink Mercy adds about $94 to the resale estimate in our calculator. A regular Diamond Battle.net account with Pink Mercy and the Origins Edition comes to about $179 to $216.

Do golden weapons add value to an Overwatch account?

A little. Each golden weapon costs 3,000 Legacy Competitive Points and adds about $1 to our estimate; a full set shows a buyer years of competitive play.

Is a Top 500 account worth more than Champion?

Yes. In our model Top 500 adds $527 against $246 for Champion, because Top 500 is a leaderboard spot only the best players of each region reach.

How much does a Mythic skin cost?

Is it against Blizzard's rules to sell an Overwatch account?

Yes. Blizzard's End User License Agreement doesn't allow buying, selling, gifting or trading accounts, and doing it can cost you the account.

Is Overwatch 2 now called Overwatch?

Yes. Blizzard dropped the "2" from the name in February 2026. Accounts, skins and ranks carried over, so this calculator works for Overwatch 2 and Overwatch 1 accounts.
